Hispanic Heritage Fiesta in Siler City – A celebration of Hispanic arts and culture

Siler City, NC — The Hispanic Liaison, in partnership with other local agencies, will host the 5th Annual Hispanic Heritage Fiesta on Saturday, September 16, 2017. Fiesta will be held from noon until 7PM on N. Chatham Avenue and Second Street, in downtown Siler City. These streets will be closed to traffic that day.

Fiesta is a family friendly event to celebrate Hispanic arts and culture. Over 500 diverse participants are anticipated to attend. Fiesta will offer live Latin music, traditional folkloric dances, information booths from business and agencies, an art exhibit by Renzo Ortega, kids’ activities, raffle, a Health Fair with booths from health service providers, and more.

“We’re excited to be working with a wonderful group of volunteers from the community and organizations to organize this year’s Fiesta. We have many new activities planned, including a parade of traditional Latin American costumes. Everyone is welcome and invited to join us for the festivities. We also welcome anyone interested in volunteering, no Spanish needed,” said Ilana Dubester, executive director of The Hispanic Liaison.

Fiesta is a great opportunity to promote your business or organization and reach the Hispanic community and beyond.
