Please join us for a free day-long symposium, “Stories about Venice and de’ Barbari’s Marvelous ‘View’ of 1500,” to celebrate “A Portrait of Venice,” a multi-media exhibition that brings to life the city of Venice through the iconic “View,” part of “The Collection Galleries” at the Nasher Museum.

Introductory remarks by Paul B. Jaskot (Duke University) and Kristin L. Huffman (Duke University). Symposium speakers include:
